Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO)
Voice Quiz requests microphone permission to enable voice input functionality, allowing you to answer quiz questions by speaking. This feature is completely optional - you can use the app with button taps instead.
How we use microphone data:
- Audio is processed locally on your device in real-time for speech recognition
- We do not record, store, or transmit any audio data
- Audio processing happens entirely on your device and is not sent to any servers
- You can use the app fully without granting microphone permission
Local Data Storage
Voice Quiz stores the following data locally on your device:
- Quiz names, descriptions, and questions you create
- Quiz results and statistics
- Your quiz-taking history
This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third parties.
Crash Reporting
Voice Quiz uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and error logs to help us improve the app's stability. This service may collect:
- Device information (model, OS version)
- App version information
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Non-personally identifiable technical data
This data is collected automatically when the app crashes and is used solely for debugging and improving app performance.
Internet Permission
The INTERNET permission is used only for:
- Firebase Crashlytics crash reporting
How We Use Information
- Local Data: All quiz data, questions, and results are stored locally on your device and used only within the app
- Crash Reports: Used exclusively to identify and fix bugs to improve app stability
- No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to third parties. All quiz data remains on your device. The only exception is anonymous crash reports sent to Firebase Crashlytics, which is a Google service used for app stability monitoring.
